At Minnesota Maxillofacial and Oral Consultants, P.A. we make every effort to provide you with the finest surgical care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this goal, we work hand in hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff. Please bring your insurance information with you to the consultation so that we can expedite reimbursement.

Insurance verification is your responsibility. When speaking to your insurance representative, we recommend you ask the following questions:

• Note the date, time, and representative's name
• Is our office in or out of network?
• Do you have deductibles or maximums?
• If the appointment is for wisdom teeth: please contact your medical insurance to verify wisdom teeth coverage and deductibles. (If there is coverage, generally the teeth need to be impacted - we will determine that at your consultation appointment.) We will bill your wisdom teeth surgery to both your medical and dental plans.
• If you have insurance, our office collects 20% of the total surgery cost on the surgery date. if you would like a pre-estimate from your dental insurance, please ask us at your consultation time. Pre-estimates take approximately 4-6 weeks to process with most insurance plans.
